We're sorry, but this discussion has just been closed to further replies.
As the first order of business for this new community site, I would like for us to flesh out the Drone's biography.
Please post here with your take on what the first Drone's description should be about. Keep notes about Drone II to yourself for now, we will describe him once the community has finalized the first Droney's profile.
Right now, let's brainstorm and I am going to ask 1 or 2 people who contribute the most to compile the best stuff into a final product.
So, get some ideas about...
- Biography (background)
- Shootclub History
- Personality
- Appearance
- "Specialty" Moves
- Pictures (if anyone can put a drawing together that would rock!)
- etc. etc.
Well I just got up and have had zero coffee as of yet BUT for his finisher... Could call it "The Flop" basiclly when he is in danger of winner he throws himself on the mat face up waiting for his opponent to drape his arm over him. In cases where needed he will pull his opponents arm over him to help ensure the lose.
Personality - Drone I takes his job as a jobber deathly serious. To him losing isn't something that happens by chance, it's a way of life. In the rare cases where he does happen to win a match he will beat himself up trying to figure out how he could have done more to lose the match. If he ever went on a winning streak of 3 matches, he would seriously contemplate suicide as a viable option. The only result that matters is picking up the L at all costs.
Few people know this but Drone one was the most popular kid in his High School. He was the star running back of the football team, a straignt A student and extremely popular with the female students. There was only one area where Drone 1 could not excell, Wrestling.
He was determined to be as good at wrestling as he was at every other aspect of his life but he could never seen to get the hang of it. Every time he would get onto the mat his opponent would beat him in 10 seconds or less. Eventually his desire to win a wrestling match became an obsession. His grades suffered, his friends thought he was insane and he dropped off the football team. His entire promising future was destroyed by his obsession with wrestling.
Before long he dropped out of highschool and spent all of his time preparing for his "future career as a pro wrestler". The more he stunk the more obsessed he became. He watched every tape, read every book and attended every pro wrestling school. There is nothing he didn't do or try and he still stunk.
Eventually Drone 1 became so obsessed with wrestling that he stopped acting like an independant human being and started to act more and more like a Drone. He now spends every waking moment training and preparing for his upcomming matches.
Come Back Special: "I think I can, I think I can"
Descrpition: Drone One shocks the crowd by hitting a perfectly timed double underhook running powerbomb. But then while attempting to go for the cover he trips and hits his head on the top turnbuckle giving his opponent a chance to recover.
Finisher: "I can't beleive I won"
Decription: Drone One climbs to the top rope and hits an amazing shooting star press. Unfortunately he miscalcuated and in addititon to hitting his opponnet he also hits the mat hard. Drone one is knocked unconscious. While Drone One is out cold the ref counts the pinfall and awards the match to Drone One who doesn't find out he has won until he recovers from his own finishin move.
Drone 1 grew up in a quiet little mountain town in the Rocky Mountains, Playing and laughing and going to school like any ordinary kid the town did but after watching Hulk Hogan VS Andre the Giant at Wrestlemania, seeing all the people standing on their feet cheering and the intensity surrounding the match...Drone 1 knew what he finally wanted to do and that was to become a wrestler.
The only downside for the young prospect was that he had no muscles to his name, a lack of balance and no sense of coordination however after getting an injection of steroids from his Uncle he was beefed up and ready to fight!!
Drone soon went to High School where he joined the wrestling team and the future looked bright. Drone left high school with a perfect record unblemished 2 wins.
Drone was on a high in life thinking he could become the next world champion and after finishing education he went to train for a pro wrestler. However in his first match he got the beating of his life loosing in a matter of minutes. The fans were chanting "You Can't Wrestle" and "You Suck" towards the young rookie and he couldn't take it in. At one minute he was undefeated in amateur wrestling and now he's being booed by the fans. He couldn't take it so with his paycheck of $13 dollars he went out and brought a Guns N Roses CD.
Drone listened and listened to the CD over and over again and before long he started to grow his hair like Axl Rose and than it all came tumbling down. He became a shadow of his former self, Soon it became about Sex, Drugs and Rock and Roll. Drone would arrive to the arena drunk and high on whatever drug he could get his hands onto and his matches started to slip. He soon went from Main Eventer to jobber in a matter of days and before long he was loosing for fun.
Comeback Move: Caffeine Boost
Description:
Drone is down on the floor and feels it's time to do something about it. He shouts for the crowd to throw him some coffee and someone does. He drinks some of the coffee and has a sudden popeye moment getting energy and strength...only for a few seconds as Drones weak bladder starts to affect him
Finisher Move: Drunken Punch
Description:
Drone who has been drinking heavily before the match goes for his first offensive move a slow motion punch. He swings for the opponent missing them by a mile and he falls to the canvas passed out
Biography: The man we now know as Drone I wasn't always the official Shootclub job boy.
There was a time when David Roney had a life he could be proud of. From an early age, young David was something of a prodigy. He walked before he was supposed to walk. He talked before he was supposed to talk. He practically toilet trained himself, and did, in fact, teach himself to read. He was the apple of his parents' respective eyes, and this apple didn't fall far from the tree. But let's not get ahead of ourselves.
Mick Roney, David's father and one of Cleveland's finest, was stabbed to death during a routine traffic stop by a professional wrestler hyped to the gills on cocaine. The other cops knew it. The newspapers knew it. More than anybody else, David knew it... but big shot wrestlers have a way of paying big shot lawyers to plant the seed of reasonable doubt in juries of their peers.
At ten years old, David was the man of his household.
David took a new interest in school. When he wasn't taking care of his two younger sisters or walking his mother home from the bar, he was hitting the books like they owed him money. By the time he was twelve years old, he had grown to 6'3" and his GPA as a freshman in high school had grown to 4.0. Club presidents fawned over him. Coaches pleaded with him. David had more important things on his mind than extra-curricular activities.
At the age of 18, David Roney graduated from Cleveland Community College with an Associate's Degree in Criminal Justice. If it had been possible for him to enroll in the Police Academy sooner than immediately, chances are he would've. He learned his father's trade, and he learned it well. His instructors told him how proud his father would be. David told them he hadn't earned that pride. Not yet.
David walked a beat. He drove a patrol. He passed every test that was put in front of him and kept his nose so clean Internal Affairs couldn't find a booger with both hands and a flashlight. He made detective, and pushed for a transfer to Narcotics. He worked the system almost as hard as he worked the gym. Finally, his opportunity presented itself.
The use of illegal drugs in professional sports has been an open secret since sports became professional or since drugs became illegal, depending on whom you ask. Finally, though, somebody was going to get to the bottom of it. The DEA hand picked David Roney to go undercover and be their man on the inside in pro wrestling. He was to travel the world, keep a low profile, and report back with his findings.
Over 400 wins and well over 2000 losses later, the man under the mask of Drone I still hasn't found any leads on in the SWA... but someday, he knows he'll make his father proud.
Personality: Drone I knows that, despite his physique, despite his training, he isn't being paid to win matches. He isn't being paid to draw attention. He has a job to do, on more than one level, and he does it sometimes all too willingly (fans still to this day talk about his losses in under three seconds). To compensate for the cases in which he makes a true mockery of the sport, and maybe, just maaaybe, to let out some unresolved aggro, he's been known to beat the holy hell out of otherwise skilled competitors. Drone I knows that he's unlikely to ever join the 500 club, but the accolades aren't what he's after. He's after a clean bust, by the book.
Appearance: Underneath his plain white mask, Drone I is a decent-looking guy. Not quite handsome, not quite ugly, just another face that can blend into a crowd as needed. He stands at 6'4" and has an impressive physique by ordinary standards, but is hardly the mountain of muscle that typifies modern pro wrestling. In short, he's just like the men he's after, only moreso.
"Specialty" Moves:
Comeback Specialty: Pin Me - Drone I drops to the mat well before a move even connects and manages to once again snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.
Finisher Specialty: Pay Me - A vicious right cross that nearly always catches his opponent off guard.
I have watched this company for years and they do have the best prices you will find buying World of Warcraft gold www.iwowleveling.com . This company does not offer additional services such as powerleveling www.wowlevelingus.com or honor leveling. If you are looking for the best price I highly recommend BankofWOW. This company was purchased by another company about a year ago but so far I have noticed only positive changes (except for a cheesy talking head popup that they removed after a short period of time).
